Sunday Thoughts

I am getting prepared to go to church now and my thoughts turn again to God's Holy Word. Jesus prays to His heanenly Father," Sanctify them through thy Truth, thy Word is Truth(John 17:17)".The Lord has given his bride the Church a wonderful gift.Jesus the living Word that became flesh (John 1:1,14). He has also given us His inscriptured Word to be sanctified and thoroughly equipped for every good work ( John 17:17;2Tim:16,17). I pray that my spiritual disciplines each day will prepare me for worshipping the Lord in sermon,song,supplication and service for Him and His covenant people.
I pray for the lost to be drawn to the Savior by the Gospel and good deeds of His people. I pray that my life would make a difference in lives for the good of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I fail, I will confess it and pray for cleansing and restoration to be used again for my Master's Kingdom. My Utmost for His Highest.
