A Good Talk But Disturbing

I had a good talk tonight with my daughter Deborah. She turned 17 years old on Tuesday and she is growing up far too quickly. Where did the time go? She has become so much smarter than me.She is a speed reader, a computer whiz, plays the violin and can act in drama. She also has a beautiful singing voice. She is morally pure so far and I thank the Lord for all these things. She professed Christ at an early age and has been baptized as well. During our talk, I realized how much the public schools in Washington and Oregon have turned her into a social and political left winger. She does not like Columbus for what he did to the natives. We were wrong to get into the Spanish American War and World War I. We committed genocide on the Indians and we were wrong to drop the bomb on Japan during World War II. She says we need to raise taxes to support the social programs and is very sensitive to discrimination against gay people. I love my daughter very much but the public school system has turned her against much of America and her history. We have not done some things well but public education turns one against America and Western Civilization. They indoctrinate kids against their own country. This is what my tax dollars support? Lord bring revival to us here in America. Turn our hearts to you in repentance and faith.Save us from our sins, past, present and future. And then bring reformation to our culture and cause us to go back to the biblical basis for our laws we once had and may our schools teach that our citizens need to be self-controlled in liberty and law in Jesus name. Amen.
