Tomorrow Evening's Class

Tomorrow evening, I will be teaching on Tearing Down the strongholds of false worldviews. This has been called Positive-Negative Apologetics. It is positive in the sense that the Christian is on the offensive but negative in the sense that the Christian is not presenting a positive case for the Faith. It has been used by the Presuppositionalist school of Apologetics for many years. In recent years, it has also been adopted by many in the Evidentialist camp as well. It is hard to present a positive presentation of the truth of the Christian worldview if the other person thinks their position is true and rational. Presenting a positive case is called the Positive Positive approach. The Christian is on the offensive and making a positive case for the Faith. The final category is called Negative-Negative Apologetics because here one answers objections to the Christian Faith. It is negative because the Christian is on the defensive and negative because it is not a positive presentation of the truth of Christianity.
All three are essential aspects of Defending the Faith in the 21st century. I believe tomorrow will be an interesting, informative and fun class. It is a privilege to teach God's people.
