A New Year and the need for Discipline

My first post in a few months and the first of 2007.
I plan to blog more often for writing practice and to get my thoughts about different things down in print. I don't expect anybody to read this blog but if somebody happens upon this blog and sees what I have written then so be it. I wish him or her the best and that God would bless them. If I am incorrect on my opinions and reasoning' then I pray for guidance to repent and change my thinking to the Truth.
I am studying the formation of the Biblical Canon to teach at church later this month. It is a fascinating topic and one that I am eager to learn and teach. This will be a year of study and teaching and I pray for the discipline of time management as I do my doctoral courses and teach at church. I also work about 55 hours a week so this year will be a great challenge to me. May the Lord bless all the bloggers out there in cyberspace in this new year of 2007.
